The Leagues Cup continues on Thursday morning, when Los Angeles FC host Guadalajara. LAFC have been unbeaten for an extended stretch and are winning at a strong rate, while Guadalajara's recent form has been inconsistent, so the home side are favored to take this one.

LAFC have been in excellent form lately, going six straight matches in all competitions without defeat and winning five of them. Their current level is evident at both ends of the pitch: they have scored three goals or more in several recent games and have also kept a number of clean sheets during that run, which should give any opponent reason for concern.

Son Heung-min and Denis Bouanga have both been finding the net regularly, with Son scoring in four consecutive matches and carrying outstanding form into this fixture. He is expected to pose a major threat to Guadalajara's back line. With home advantage on top of that, LAFC look well placed to claim the win.

Guadalajara, by contrast, have not been convincing recently. Across their last six matches in all competitions, they have managed only one win, along with three draws and two defeats, underlining a clear lack of cutting edge when it comes to turning performances into victories.

Their attacking struggles have been a persistent issue. In those last six matches, they have scored more than once in only one game, and they were also held scoreless twice. Unless they address those problems quickly, the outlook remains unpromising. On top of that, Guadalajara have found wins hard to come by away from home in recent matches across all competitions, which does little to inspire confidence ahead of this tough trip to LAFC.
