There was more drama later in the Champions League as GNK Dinamo Zagreb recovered from 0-2 down to draw 2-2 with FC Thun, while SK Sturm Graz won 2-0 away to Heart of Midlothian and Shamrock Rovers beat FC Ararat-Armenia 2-1 after building a two-goal lead before the break.

Elsewhere in the Conference League, knockout drama dominated as Riga FC beat FK Vardar 5-2 after extra time despite trailing 1-2 at the end of regular time, CSKA 1948 Sofia advanced past Spartak Trnava on penalties after a 0-0 draw, and FC Drita saw off Floriana 2-1 in extra time after a 1-1 scoreline at 90 minutes.
