Hammarby Backed to Edge Häcken Despite European Distraction

Hammarby have signed attacking player Aiwen Bodi from Los Angeles FC for a fee that set a new transfer record for a Swedish club.

Häcken, meanwhile, have brought in midfielder Harun Ibrahim on loan. He previously played in the Swedish top flight with GAIS.

Hammarby have been consistently solid since Ladi Stang took charge, although this fixture falls between the two legs of their Conference League tie and could prove a distraction. Even so, home advantage should give them a slight edge over an out-of-form Häcken side.

Häcken won the first league meeting between the sides this season 3-2, but Hammarby held the upper hand last season with a home win and an away draw.
