FIFA has released figures showing that Spain's semi-final win over France set the country's highest World Cup TV audience of the past decade.
The match sent Spain into their first men's World Cup final since 2010, with millions of viewers across the country tuning in.
Spain's public broadcaster RTVE recorded an average audience of 13.2 million across all its channels for the game, with an audience share of 73.8%.
Its La 1 channel alone drew 17.3 million viewers, topping Spain's World Cup ratings chart for the last ten years.
